Opening Java Project using NetBeans

Opening Java Project using NetBeans is easy. In the early stages of using Netbeans, you might usually have problems opening a project that has already being developed and sent to you, this tutorial will teach you how to do that seamlessly.

At the time of this tutorial, we are using the NetBeans 8.0 IDE (which is the latest). Follow the instructions below;

  1. Ensure you download and keep the Software Application in a location where you can find it easily, I always save mine on the desktop
  2. Delete any previous versions of the file
  3. Click the file Menu and choose the ‘open project’ option

  4. A new dialog will appear, there you can choose your desired Software Application (They should possess the icon a the coffee cup)
